Taco Bell Tests New Menu Items At Select Locations Across the US

Taco Bell is testing out tons of new options in markets across the US, including a bunch of value menu items.

For just a dollar in select restaurants in Columbus, OH, and soon, Kansas City, MO. you can try your choice of Spicy Tacos or Primo Burritos.

The Spicy Tacos will be made with a soft flour tortilla, filled with Taco Bell’s signature seasoned beef, lettuce, cheddar cheese, and your choice of spicy sauce, including mild jalapeño, medium chipotle, or white hot ranch. The white hot ranch has all the creamy flavor you’d expect from a ranch sauce, with a ton of added kick from ghost chili peppers.

The Primo Burritos come in two flavors, the  Loaded Taco Primo Burrito and the Chicken Enchilada Primo Burrito. The Loaded Taco Primo Burrito is made with a soft flour tortilla filled with the same signature seasoned beef, crunchy red strips, lettuce, reduced-fat sour cream, and cheddar cheese, while the Chicken Enchilada Primo Burrito is made with a soft flour tortilla, white meat chicken, reduced-fat sour cream, seasoned rice, and cheddar cheese all smothered in a spicy enchilada sauce. While still a value menu item, the Chicken Enchilada Primo Burrito will cost you an extra $0.49.

In addition to the value menu offerings, the chain is also testing out Stacked Bowls in Portland, OR. Grilled Cheese Stackers in Houston, TX., and a Chicken Enchilada Grilled Cheese Burrito in Cleveland, OH.

The Stacked Bowls are available in three varieties including beef taco, avocado ranch chicken, and steak melt, all made with a blend of lettuce and purple cabbage.

The Grilled Cheese Stacker is made with a flour tortilla folded into the Taco Bell stacker tri-fold and stuffed with seasoned beef, a three-cheese blend, and nacho cheese sauce, before being topped off with grilled cheese.

Finally, the Chicken Enchilada Grilled Cheese Burrito is made with a soft flour tortilla filled with white meat chicken, seasoned rice, three-cheese blend, crunchy red strips, reduced-fat sour cream, and enchilada sauce, topped with a layer of grilled cheese.

Let’s hope these tasty new additions have a nationwide launch in their future!
